Ebony Magazine recently dedicated this special edition issue to 25 of the coolest African-American men over the last 30 yrs. Out of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s, only 25 could make the list. It would be pointless to name all of them now because, you wouldn't go out and cop for yourself. I honestly think buying this issue would increase your swag, so, go out and get a copy. R.I.P. Heath

In his last theatrical performance Heath Ledger gave movie goers a lasting impression they would never forget. I was talking to one of my friends, and we were discussing how Heath is a method actor. A method actor takes his role seriously and pretty much loses him/herself to master that role. Method actors go out of their means, and ultimately become that character. Heath did many things to become the Joker in the Dark Knight, and it probably led to his death in the process. If you haven't seen the movie, you are probably like 2% of people in the world who haven't. The movie is on its way to becoming the top grossing movie of all time having already done over 300 million domestically(The U.S.). I wish Heath could be here to receive ALL of his props. R.I.P. Heath

The Titus Project

My mom has a cool company/mentorship program in which she helps young and more mature women on this path we call life. Its called The Titus Project. It comes from Titus 2:4. Go pick up a Bible and see what its about. But I'll keep you posted on any future events and info on it.

The print features Batman alongside some of his worst nemesis. A symbolic run of only 45 prints were created which correlate with 45 different arch-enemies Batman has defeated in his past including Rogue’s Gallery and League of Assassins members. Each 17″ x 22″ print is signed and numbered with a price set at $80 USD. Available at the Zerofriends booth (N13) at the SDCC.

I've been down since De La Soul and MF collabed on Roc Cocaine Flow. Classicness. In 2005 Doom recorded over a Dilla (RIP) track of off Donuts. Its called Sniper Elite. Its been released digitally on Stones Throw for like 3 bucks. For a long sample here it is on OkayPlayer.

Its funny how things work out. On a random day at a random boutique during a random rant about things I'm into, Vashtie's name was mentioned. The person Im speaking to lights up like "Hey, I know her..we used to work next door to each other.." What? Stop that foolish talk. That only happens in movies when the sun moon stars and quasars align. We sorta dismiss it like just a mere coincidence. But upon seeing the first LOVE VA$HTIE post, they do something I couldn't have seen coming if it had previews. The individual takes out their phone..searches..finds the digits..dials..and she says..."Hello?"

After a small stroke and minor heart palpitations during a brief convo with the Violette vixen (i had to laugh at that), this post ensues. It just so happens the director/designer directed the CRS video I was looking for. No more from me..enjoy her.

10 Tips For The Well Dressed Man.

Since i haven't posted an entry in a bizillion years, I felt I start off with giving you guys a treat from Mr. Bentley. Yes. Fonzworth. He has a a new reality show on MTV, From G's to Gents. Quite frankly I think this will be the first and last season. But, last year he was interviewed by Ebony magazine and they titled his article "10 Tips for the Well Dressed Man."

(1) "Buying expensive clothes is not necessary to get a good look; buying clothes that fit properly is. Take the time to get measured and buy your clothes accordingly. A good tailor can make all the difference. It's amazing how the right fit can transform an item of clothing."

(2) "Belts can be expensive, but see the expense as an investment. So go ahead and buy that alligator or crocodile belt. They look good and will last forever. Keep in mind, suspenders attach to your trousers, and braces button to your trousers. I prefer braces. Also, please don't wear a belt and suspenders or braces at the same time. They do the same thing, and it's just incorrect."

(3) "Great ties can be found just about anywhere. I recommend you get to know a sales associate in a boutique or department store and tell him or her to call you when a shipment of ties comes in, as well as when ties go on sale."
